DELLORTO announces its new Brand Ambassador 2022: Matteo Bobbi, car champion and well-known face of Sky Italia for his charismatic Formula 1 GP reports. An influential figure in the automotive industry, he boasts several awards and recognitions, including the “Casco d’Oro” (Golden Helmet) as the best Italian driver in 2003; he is linked to DELLORTO by a close friendship with the ownership.

Born in 1978, Matteo Bobbi began his career in go-karts, moving on to motorsports in the 2000s, achieving numerous victories and pole positions. He later became a test driver and third driver in the Minardi F1 team, actively participating in the development of the cars. In 2003, the year of the prestigious Golden Helmet, he would also be FIA GT World Champion, paired with Thomas Biaggi, at the wheel of a Ferrari 550 Maranello. He has also attended the U.S. Rolex Grand Am, raced the famous 24 Hours of Le Mans and, over the years, in the GT. He is also a Premium Sports & Safe Driving instructor for brands such as Porsche and Toyota as well as a mentor to young drivers.
