DELLORTO at the Motor Valley Fest: Technological Neutrality and Industrial Skills for the Mobility of the Future
At the roundtable “Tier 1 & Tech Suppliers”, Andrea Dell’Orto shared the company’s vision for the energy transition, India, motorsport, and technological evolution of the supply chain.
The Motor Valley Fest, scheduled in Modena from May 28 to 31, 2026, is an event dedicated to the land of motors in Emilia-Romagna, combining innovation, industrial culture, passion, design, and the future of mobility. The program combines events open to the public with panels and discussions with businesses, institutions, universities, and key players in the supply chain, also establishing itself as a space for dialogue on strategic automotive issues.
DELLORTO took part in the round table “Tier 1 & Tech Suppliers”, as part of the panel “Energy Transition: Electrification & Technology-Neutral Approaches”, bringing the point of view of an industrial reality engaged for over ninety years in engine power and control systems.
During the panel, Andrea Dell’Orto, Executive Vice President and Sales & Marketing Manager of Dell’Orto SpA, emphasized the need to approach the transition with a concrete approach open to multiple solutions. Electric, hybrid, advanced heat engines, lower-impact fuels, control electronics, and new system capabilities respond to different markets, applications, and mobility needs.
One of the central steps of the intervention concerned India, a market in which DELLORTO has had an industrial presence since 2006 and where it has consolidated a leading position in electronic injection systems. In a country where daily mobility still largely depends on motorcycles and scooters, the transition involves both the evolution of internal combustion engines, including those related to fuels like E20, and the growth of light electric mobility.
Andrea Dell’Orto also emphasized the value of motorsport as a technical laboratory. The competition, for DELLORTO, is not only an area of visibility, but a test bench in which to develop and validate solutions related to electronic control, data acquisition, reliability, software and integration between mechanics and electronics.
ARCA Tecnologie’s entry into the group, called upon as a complementary industrial and technological component, also fits into this process. ARCA’s expertise in power electronics, inverters, BMS, DC/DC, hardware, and software strengthens DELLORTO’s path to increasingly integrated systems, where control, data, and reliability become central to electric, hybrid, and advanced control systems. At the Motor Valley Fest, this passage also took on a symbolic value, because it recounts the encounter between two territories and two skills of industrial Made in Italy. On the one hand our production and technological base in Brianza, on the other an excellence born in the Emilian ecosystem of the Motor Valley, united by the same attention for engineering, innovation and ability to transform know-how into concrete solutions.
