DELLORTO and Aprilia Racing star in Brazil: a historic one-two finish in Goiânia
Marco Bezzecchi takes the win ahead of Jorge Martín in a weekend to remember for Aprilia Racing. For DELLORTO, the technical partner of the Noale-based team, this result confirms the value of a collaboration built on technology, reliability, and teamwork.
The Autódromo Internacional de Goiânia – Ayrton Senna set the stage for a massive show of strength born from the joint efforts of Aprilia Racing and DELLORTO. The RS-GPs ridden by Marco Bezzecchi and Jorge Martín dominated the track thanks to a top-tier technical package, where the electronic throttle body, the fuel system, and the #MadeInDellorto variable-length intake manifolds played a key role in power delivery and reliability.
Starting from second on the grid, Marco Bezzecchi took the lead at the very first corner and held it until the finish line, securing his first win on Brazilian soil. This marks the fourth consecutive victory for the Romagna-born rider—following Portimão, Valencia, and Buriram—making him the first rider in Aprilia’s history to reach five wins in the premier class (including Silverstone 2025).
Bezzecchi also set a record that had stood for eleven years: leading a Grand Prix from the first to the last meter for four races in a row. He joins an elite group of only five riders capable of winning four consecutive Grands Prix in the modern era, alongside Rossi, Márquez, Lorenzo, and Bagnaia. Completing the perfect day for Aprilia Racing, Jorge Martín crossed the line in second: this is the Spaniard’s first Sunday podium in Aprilia colors and his return to the top three after 490 days.
It was a Sunday for the history books for the Noale factory: their tenth premier-class win, the fourth in a row, their second-ever official 1-2 finish since Montmeló 2023, and a milestone of 304 total victories in the World Championship. Thanks to this result, Aprilia Racing surges to the top of the Constructors’ and Teams’ standings, placing two of its riders in the top two spots of the World Championship for the first time in its history.
Great news also came from Team Trackhouse: Ai Ogura finished in fifth position, while Raúl Fernández took tenth, confirming the competitiveness of the project with four Italian bikes in the top ten.
